AC Plus Marine, Inc. has a need for a project engineer to support the design, fabrication, and installation phases of saturation diving systems.  The responsibilities of the job may encompass a full range of product/project engineering activities including design, development, testing, and product support of mechanical products.  The actual assignments will vary.
 

 Candidates will be given on-the-job training to assist with a variety of tasks, including:

· Processing engineering changes

· Design of fluid and pneumatic systems

· Acting as the liaison between customers, engineers, management, and contractors

· Supporting project management activities

· Providing validation and test support

· Providing project support for manufacturing

· Technical writing

· System component research and specification

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial technology with 6 months to 2+ years experience is required.  Students approaching achievement of a degree with applicable work/internship experience and available for full time work will also be considered.
Teamwork skills are a must.  The candidate must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.  The candidate must have working knowledge of Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint).  Experience in SolidWorks, Pro-Engineer, AutoCAD and/or Microsoft Project is a plus.  Candidates should be self-starters and have the ability to work with minimal direction.  The candidate should have the ability to work in a manufacturing environment, as the position may involve some time spent on the shop floor.

 

AC Plus Marine, Inc. is continually looking for competent technicians for the construction of new Saturation Diving Systems and refurbishment of existing equipment and systems. Experience in the Commercial Diving industry or offshore is helpful. A strong background in any or all of the following categories is a must: Former US Navy Diver, Marine Electrical, Marine Mechanical Maintenance, and Refrigeration and HVAC in a Commercial Marine application.
